Located on the corner of West San Carlos Street and Almaden Boulevard, the Center for the Performing Arts was designed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The theater features continental seating with 2,665 seats and can accommodate up to 10 wheelchair seats. In addition, an infrared system for the hearing-impaired is installed through the in-house audio system.

 

The striking 52,000 square foot purple building, designed by Mexico City-based architect Ricardo Legorreta, signals the purpose of Children's Discovery Museum to serve the needs of children, families and schools as a center for learning and discovery.
